I am so excited, I can hardly contain my feelings. Matt Sparrow is quilting my Crown of Thorns and it is going to be a real beauty when he is done with it. The designs he proposed will make it even more beautiful. I intend to enter this quilt in a show , or two, and hopefully will win with it. Thanks Matt, for making my quilt a beauty!
I finished the top and now it is ready to be packed up and sent to the longarm person who will be quilting this for me. I can hardly wait to see what beautiful work he will do on it for me. I have been watching him quilt for months now, and am sending it to him this week. In case you haven’t guessed it by now, Matt Sparrow will be quilting it for me.
Day 2 of my blog. It is still raining today, will it ever end or do I need to start building my ark? I hope to be getting some sewing done today. I have been paper piecing Judy Neimeyer’s The Crown of Thorns and will post some pictures of my progress. We are supposed to go to the Reading Phillies ballgame tomorrow evening, but I already informed hubby that if it is raining, I am not going! We got it as a free trip from our local bus tour company cause they said we are in their frequest traveler’s club………..we are? Anyhow, there will be fireworks and the whole nine yards, but let it rain and this chick stays home!
Hubby has an eye doctor this morning, so I have plenty of time to do this blog thing, but don’t expect it every day! LOL Well, time to take some pics and get them posted, then it is time to sew…..Happy Sewing!
Okay, can’t figure out this picture thingy, so until I do, no pics…………grrrr!
Hello world and fellow quilters. I was told by “someone” that I needed a blog. Hmmmm, do I? Nothing really earth shattering in my life. I sew, I quilt, needlepunch, knit, crochet, just to name a few. So tell me, why am I doing this. ….. I can’t keep up with my life so as it is……..LOL
